Lotfy Nathan is an American filmmaker. He was accepted to the Columbia University MFA Film Program. He began to pursue film during his studies at MICA, which has since become his primary focus, inform ed by his background as a painter. Lotfy’s first film 12 O’Clock Boys, for which he was awarded an HBO emerging artist award, has played numerous festivals domestically and abroad, including SXSW, Sundance LA, and Lincoln Center NYC, and was ranked seven in the BFI list of top 20 documentaries of 2013.
