Synopsis

Khorfakkan highlights the epic resistance of inhabitants of the city of Khorfakkan during the Portuguese invasion in 1507 led by naval commander General Afonso de Albuquerque and the natives resisted the first attempt in 1507 by Portuguese naval commander Afonso de Albuquerque to colonize the place. The story continues 27 years from that event, in 1534, when Portuguese commander Don George de Castro led another campaign to try to subjugate Khorfakkan to the authority of Hormuz.
